The Craven-Pamlico-Carteret Regional Library (CPCRL) has received a grant of $100,000 to migrate to “Library.Solution”, a public library automation system. The grant is provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
The migration to “Library.Solution” will involve closures at the 10 affiliated libraries:
Friday, September 30th – Last day to check out materials on the current system.
Saturday, October 1st – All the libraries open regular hours but without system for checking materials in or out, issuing new library cards, or reviewing patrons’ accounts. Public Internet access will be available.
Sunday, October 2nd through Sunday, October 9th – all libraries closed for staff training.
Monday, October 10th – All libraries open their regular hours with “Library.Solution” software in place.
Thank you in advance for your patience during this transitional time.
