The chiller unit for the library has been ordered and installation is expected to happen later this month. When this happens, you will be able to use all areas of the library and it will be a quieter space than it is now. Stand by for more information. In the meantime, you can borrow books from other libraries, purchase used books and magazines, copy and fax items, and ask any one of our wonderful staff to find a book in the library. They are happy to help.
The Friends of the Havelock Library extend their thanks to those who supported out BUNCO event held Nov. 4th at Township Six Fire Department. It was great fun and we were thrilled by the success of the event. If you attended and have comments, please send them to me or call me ( 252-670-1105).
A bird pin was found in the parking lot of the fire department after this event . The pin is at the library if it is yours.
The Friends are sponsoring a new raffle for a Crab Pot Christmas tree. It is on display in the library and tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The drawing will be held well before Christmas so the winner can enjoy this beautiful decoration.
